Schools visiting<\/h1>\r\nMathematics Adventure Land is a permanent hands-on exhibition in\r\nDresden, Germany. Its aim is to bring visitors closer to mathematics in\r\nan entertaining way and to awaken their interest in mathematical\r\nthinking. The exhibition is aimed at visitors of all ages, but pupils\r\nfrom all types of schools are of course a particularly important target\r\ngroup. Mathematics Adventure Land is therefore prepared for visits by\r\nschool classes.\r\n\r\nAs an out-of-school place for learning, Mathematics Adventure Land\r\noffers a variety of opportunities to experience mathematics both inside\r\nand outside the classroom. At the same time, the topics covered in the\r\nAdventure Land are related to the mathematics curriculum in many ways.\r\nThis makes it possible to integrate a visit to Adventure Land into the\r\nlessons. The visit should focus on the experience of play and the joy of\r\nactivity.\r\n\r\nOn the following pages you find suggestions for visits of classes or\r\ngroups of pupils to Adventure Land, as well as information on\r\norganisation and materials for follow-up work in class. On certain dates\r\nwe also offer courses and workshops for teachers.
