The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smk.sachsen.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Saxon State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs<\/a> supported the three-year start-up phase with considerable funding. In addition, the state capital Dresden provided funds that could be partially used for renovation of the rooms and the necessary museum infrastructure.
