What is coincedence? This question is the subject of probability theory. You can find out for yourself with this exhibit:
Donate a coin to the Maths Adventure Land! At each intersection, the coin can choose either right or left with the same probability. What pattern can you observe? Where do the most coins gather?
This experimental arrangement is commonly called the Galton Board after the English naturalist and polymath Sir Francis Galton (1822–1911).
