Student assistant for the Maths Adventure Land

As a student assistant (Explainer) you will work with our guests, you will be a “co-discoverer” and contact person when exploring the Maths Adventure Land. They make a significant contribution to making a visit to the Dresden Technical Collections an unforgettable experience for all guests. Tasks include providing pedagogical/didactic support and advice to visitors in the Maths Adventure Land, arranging/clearing away experiments for use by subsequent visitors and answering visitors’ questions about the Technical Collections Dresden.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Service orientation and communication skills
  • Empathy and enjoyment in dealing with guests of all ages
  • Basic mathematical understanding
  • Reliability and ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Enrolled student at the TU Dresden

Opening Hours and Ticket Prices

Tuesday – Friday: 9 am – 5 pm
Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 10 am – 6 pm

Entry: 5 Euro / discount. 4 Euro

Special prices apply for groups and families, for guided tours or for photo and video permission.
