This exhibit is about so-called packing problems: What is the maximum number of similar objects that can be accommodated in a given area?

Given are seven metallic frames, each of which is to enclose a given number of equally sized circular brass plates. Can you arrange the required number of tiles so that they fit into the respective frame? What does the solution look like? Does it have symmetries?
