In a proof without words, an image or object of contemplation is sufficient to convincingly justify a mathematical theorem.
This exhibit provides a geometric proof of the Pythagorean theorem 
. The three squares of the sides of a rectangular triangle were broken down into smaller parts. These can be reallocated in such a way that this justifies the theorem.
