The Museums of the City of Dresden take the protection of your personal data very seriously. In the following, we explain how we handle your data and where it is collected.
In accordance to the provisions of the Data Protection Act, we are obliged to use your personal data only for the intended purpose. In order to comply with these regulations, we have taken technical and organisational measures.
Handling of personal data
The primary purpose of your visit to our website is to inform you about what The Maths Adventure Land has to offer. In addition, it may happen that you provide us with personal data (for example, by e-mail). Your personal data is only collected by us if you provide it to us when sending a contact form or via an enquiry by e-mail. Your details will only be used internally and for a specific purpose – i.e. for processing the enquiry, registration or order. We only save your data until its purpose has been fulfilled. Afterwards, the data is deleted.
We only use your data internally and do not pass it on to third parties. Please note, however, that data transmission via unencrypted mail traffic is not one hundred percent secure and can always have security gaps. We can therefore not guarantee one hundred percent protection of your data from access by third parties.
Use of cookies
We use cookies to evaluate user access to our websites. These are stored on your computer when you visit our website. The data obtained in this way, such as the access time and length of stay on the page, are stored together with your IP address on the servers we use, but are not passed on to third parties. You can make the appropriate settings in your browser to delete existing cookies or to prevent cookies from being stored.
Your rights
Personal data is processed with your consent. According to art. 13 para. 2 EU GDPR you are informed about the following rights:
- You cannot be forced or pressured to continue to give consent.
- You can revoke your consent at any time. After revocation, your data will be deleted.
- You have the following rights vis-à-vis the City of Dresden or the responsible authority: the right to information pursuant to Art. 15 EU GDPR, the right to correction of incorrect data pursuant to Art. 16 EU GDPR, the right to deletion or to be forgotten pursuant to Art. 17 EU GDPR, and the right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 EU GDPR.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint against the processing of your personal data with the data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 EU GDPR
The Maths Adventure Land runs a fan page on Facebook. It is linked to the website. If you click on the Facebook icon, you will be redirected to our Facebook page. Only then does your browser establish a connection to Facebook and Facebook can save your IP address.
